The Industrial Development Authority of the County of Mississippi, Missouri, consists of seven (7) directors elected by the County Commission of Mississippi County, Missouri.  Each Director shall be a duly qualified elector and taxpayer in Mississippi County, Missouri.  No Director shall be an officer or employee of the county.  Board members serve on a rotating schedule, ultimately serving four-year terms.  It is their responsibility to guide and direct the IDA in a way that promotes the growth of new and expanding businesses and family-sustaining job creation throughout Mississippi County.

Mission Statement:
It is the mission of the Industrial Development Authority of the County of Mississippi, Missouri, to deliver effective, efficient, and respectful public service with integrity and accountability using proven and innovative methods.

Vision Statement:
It is the vision of the Industrial Development Authority of the County of Mississippi, Missouri, to make our county the place of choice to live, work, play, and grow in Southeast Missouri.

Scheduled Meetings:
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Board meeting are held on the second Thursday of each month at a place and time to be determined.  Notice of the time, date, place, and tentative agenda of each meeting shall be posted on the bulletin board at the IDA Office in the Mississippi County Courthouse in Charleston, MO.
